The Wilson Foundation is proud to announce its continuing support of Sydney Philharmonia Choir, Australia's premiere choral organisation with more than 2,000 singers across six ensembles and around fifty performances annually.
In addition to the annual concert series, SPC collaborates with top-tier orchestras, soloists and conductors, performing regularly with many of Australia’s most prominent arts companies and festivals, the Sydney Symphony Orchestra and at Sydney Opera House performances.
The grant forms part of the Foundation's commitment to support the capability and broadening of the arts and culture within Australia.

Sydney Symphony Orchestra is one of Australia’s flagship Orchestras performing up to 150 concerts each year to an audience of more than 350,000. The Wilson Foundation supports the Orchestra with a multiyear grant.

The Wilson Foundation supports Dr Mark Horowitz's Fellowship via Adelaide University. Dr Horowitz is an Australian, London-based Clinical Research Fellow in Psychiatry with the UK's NHS and a Visiting Lecturer in Psychopharmacology at King's College London.
A co-author of the Maudsley Deprescribing Guidelines with a PhD in the neurobiology of depression and antidepressant action, he is internationally recognised as an expert in psychiatric medication withdrawal.
Through this Fellowship, Mark is developing the Maudsley Deprescribing Guidelines (Quick Reference Guide). He is developing clinical education content and will undertake an Australian lecture tour in early 2027. Mark is also working on several research projects, including a proposal for a major clinical trial on the hyperbolic tapering of long-term antidepressant use.

Go Gentle Australia led the successful introduction of voluntary assisted dying laws across Australia. Through advocacy, evidence-based research and powerful storytelling. They work to ensure end of life care is compassionate, high quality and respects individuals' right to choose how they die. The Wilson Foundation supports Go Gentle Australia with multi year funding.

Wayside Chapel breaks down the barriers of judgement and provides a safe place where people from all walks of life are welcome, especially those experiencing homelessness or isolation. The Wilson Foundation supports the Wayside Chapel with a multiyear grant to their Women’s Space.
